Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has been ranked #39 in QS Asia University Rankings in the latest report released by Quacquarelly Symonds (QS) University Rankings 2021. This position has put UTM among the top 6% of universities in Asia. The success is attributed to the strong research culture in the university, which is translational research where staff as researchers, are encouraged to benefit the society through their projects. Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Reigns as Malaysia's Number One Private University in QS Asia Rankings 2021 Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) has once again retained its position as the nation's number one private university in the QS Asia University Rankings 2021. The university now ranks 70th, a 12-spot jump from 82nd last year. With this achievement, UTP is placed in the top 11% out of 634 published institutions in the rankings.
