The all-Malaysian men’s singles final between Lee Zii Jia and Ng Tze Yong at the Arctic Open in Finland saw Lee Zii Jia snap a 17-month title drought by winning.
World No. 14 Zii Jia was in command as he defeated Tze Yong 21-14, 21-15 in 39 minutes.
The last time Zii Jia saw success was at the Thailand Open in May of last year, which was one of the back-to-back triumphs he attained together with the Asian Championships.
