Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) have announced that Langkawi will soon to officially reopen on 16th September 2021 to fully vaccinated people in helping to boost back the economy in tourism sector. Thus, giving hopes to the tourism players in reviving their business soon.The island has been chosen as the first travel bubble pilot destination due to it being one of the most popular tourist destinations in Malaysia and its geographical location – an island thus it is separated from the mainland, making it easy to be supervised.
